Floor Stripping & Waxing

At Tarpley Janitorial Services we take a meticulous approach to stripping and waxing floors. First, we clear the area of furniture, mats and other obstructions. Next, we thoroughly sweep and mop the floor to remove dirt, dust and old wax. Then, we apply a high quality floor stripper, allowing it to dwell for the recommended time before scrubbing the floor with a rotary scrubber or floor machine. After rinsing the floor thoroughly, we apply multiple coats of a high-solids floor wax, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Finally, we finish the job by buffing the floor to a high gloss with a high- speed buffer or floor  burnisher.
